Rhonda Knudsen
Rhonda Knudsen’s work is guided by intuition, material exploration, and a strong sense of color. After many years spent developing her practice in Seattle, the Montana native has returned to Billings to pursue art full-time.
Working across graphite, ink, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, oil, and charcoal, she moves fluidly between mediums—often combining them to create layered, dynamic compositions. Her work ranges from large-scale abstraction to figurative pieces that blend abstract with elements of design. Color serves as the unifying thread throughout her work, shaping both structure and expression. Her portfolio reflects an evolving practice rooted in curiosity, experimentation and a continual process of discovery.
