Billings Art Association
Founded in 1954, BAA brings together people interested in making and sharing visual art. Members have included artist Isabelle Johnson, Ben Steele, Ted Waddell, and Dona Forbes. Members helped organize and fund a drive to make an art center of what was a county jail set for demolition, which became the Yellowstone Art Museum.
Now members hail from cities and towns across the Billings region. BAA specializes in artist camaraderie.
Mission Statement: Billings Arts Association is a regional 501(c)3 organization which encourages participation in, and appreciation of the visual arts and supports art education with material grants at every level.
