Featured artist Peter Herzog is showing his old vehicle collection on the featured wall through July.
Peter is an Army Veteran who found photography as his therapy. He found a love for black and white images as a young man and formed a connection with an image that allows him to freeze the moments and emotions.
“Photography is all about the subject, composition and light. In addition to that, I want my images to convey emotion. The world we live in is not a perfect place and some of my images will show that exact same thing. I try to tell it like it is through my photography. I want to bring out the beauty that we find in nature. The feeling in your souls when looking at a majestic landscape as our heart slowly beats when experiencing the Southwest’s amazing sunsets, when the blue-green ocean waves crash into rocky shores, we feel alive. The simplicity of puppies, kittens and babies. A lot of us look at the world around us through rose colored glasses and only see what we want to see. Hopefully through my images people can see and feel the world as it really is.”

Let us introduce Dick Cottrill for those that haven’t heard of him yet 😉
Dick is a wildlife enthusiast who finds it more than simply painting or drawing the animal, it’s capturing its beauty and majesty.
As a young boy hunting with his father he came across a bull moose foraging the bottom of a small lake and he was struck by presence and was instantly hooked.
Every painting he does captures a bit of that moment and transforms it into a beautiful piece of art.
Dick is also a retired art teacher for School District 2 and loves when former students stop in to say hi. Hint hint 😉
