Sue is a founding member of the Sandstone Gallery and co-Director. She passed away in June, 2023.
Her medium of choice is oil paints, although she is equally at home in watercolor, pastels, ceramics and drawing media.
She studied at Montana State University and MSU-Billings, Glendale Arizona Community College and received her Arts Degree from Boise State University. She has also studied with Doris Jones, Hall Diteman, Ben Steel, Bruce Haughey and others including two Pro Art workshops. She taught Graphic Art classes at the Billings Career Center.
She is a member of the Billings Arts Association, The Carbon County Arts Guild, Two Rivers Gallery in Big Timber and the Sandstone Gallery of Billings.
A Quiet country scene is usually her subject matter of choice. An occasional townscape displays her versatility. The somewhat whimsical paintings of animals have always been favorites of gallery viewers.
