Susan Nelson – Billings Arts Association

Susan Nelson is our Billings Arts Association artist for June and July.
Susan Nelson, a long-time resident of Montana, is a retired educator. She has been seriously painting since 1995. As a watercolor painter, she has concentrated on painting the landscapes and sites of eastern Montana. She has also done many paintings of abandoned homesteads extant throughout the southeastern part of the state. She has recently began painting with oils and is excited to see where this medium takes her.
Susan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education, a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics, a Master of Arts degree in art education and an Associate degree in Graphic Design.
She has won several awards at shows in western North Dakota, eastern Montana and, most recently, at Montana Fair.
