DESCRIPTION:FREE! \nCELEBRATING WILL CRAIN \nStop in and say farewell to William Crain as he embarks on a new journey and to celebrate 17 years as a valued member of our Co-Op gallery. \nFEATURED ARTIST\n \nPlease join us in welcoming our newest partner member and featured artist John Roberts.  John is showing new work from the past three years which includes the beautiful landscapes and nature of Montana. \n\nI relish the infinite possibility of that first mark on a canvas. I enjoy the chaos of the middle painting when I wonder if I should throw the whole thing in the trash. I savor the coalescing surprise of the final touches and the moment I can say\, “It’s done.” For me the journey is as important as the destination and the process is as important as the final result. In that I find peace. –John Roberts \n\n  \nGUEST ARTIST \nOur guest artist for February and March is Susan Nelson\, a long-time resident of Montana\, and retired educator.  She has been seriously painting since 1995.  As a watercolor painter\, she has concentrated on painting the landscapes and sites of eastern Montana.  She has also done many paintings of abandoned homesteads extant throughout the southeastern part of the state.  She has recently began painting with oils and we are excited to see where this medium takes her.  \nBILLINGS ARTS ASSOCIATION \nWe have two wonderful artists representing Billings Arts Association. Edda Freestone and Ev Bergeron. \nMEMBER ARTISTS \nWe’ve been busy improving our gallery\, and everything is fabulously re-set\, so there will be lots of new things to see. Many or all of our 14 artists will also be on hand to present their work and talk to you about their art.
