DESCRIPTION:Sandstone Gallery is happy to announce the 2021 SPRING ART CHALLENGE.  If you have ever wished to let your creativity fly and put it on display\, now is the time.  \nUsing your imagination and medium/materials of your choice\, create your masterpiece on the 8” x 8” canvas given to you with your $10 entry. \nAwards will be given\, including a children’s category. \nYou can price your art for sale. All Art will be subject to a 30% commission. \n**Pick up entry form and canvas starting February 16th at Sandstone Gallery.**\n**Entries must be submitted by the week of May 15.** \nThe show will hang for the months of June and July. \nGrand Opening: JUNE Art Walk on Friday\, June 4. (Covid restrictions permitting)   \nMany people enjoyed the entries for the 2020 show\, even though the gallery hours were severely limited. This show was filled with outstanding work. We expect the same great level of art for the 2021 SAC. Voting for People’s Choice Award will begin during the June Art Walk and will continue through July 31.  \nThe winner will be announced at the Art Walk\, August 6. (Covid restrictions permitting)\, at which time the awards will be presented.   \n**Please be prepared to pick up your work by August 15.

He carves alabaster\, which is softer than marble in beautiful colors of sepia to oatmeal\, which he quarried in Anza Borrego\, CA\, and orange alabaster quarried in Parawan\, Utah.
