DESCRIPTION:Sandstone Gallery is excited to announce the 2025 SPRING ART CHALLENGE! If you’ve ever wanted to unleash your creativity and showcase your art\, now is the perfect opportunity. \nCreate your masterpiece using the 6” x 8” canvas provided with your $15 entry fee. You may use any medium or materials of your choice\, but the artwork must be created on the provided canvas. \nImportant Dates: \n\nSubmission Period: March 18th – March 25th\nGrand Opening/Art Walk: Friday\, April 4th\nShow Dates: April & May\nPick-Up Dates: May 23rd (10 AM – 5 PM) or May 24th (10 AM – 2 PM)\n\nPlease Note: \n\nAll artwork must be available for sale.\nAwards will be given\, including a special children’s division.\nThe People’s Choice Award voting will begin during the Art Walk on April 4th and will be announced at the end of the evening.\nOther award winners will also be announced during the Art Walk on April 4th\, and prizes will be presented then.\n\nWe can’t wait to see your incredible work! \n

DESCRIPTION:Rescheduled ArtWalk featuring Lana Bittner and Teresa Brown\nFriday\, March 7th\nIt was blizzard conditions on our originally scheduled ArtWalk\, so we have re-scheduled to Friday\, March 7th. \nSandstone Gallery is proud to showcase the stunning alcohol ink and watercolor paintings of Lana Bittner and the beautiful acrylic\, oil\, and charcoal pieces of Teresa Brown\, just in time to find something special for your Valentine! Our special event in the guest gallery is Billings Arts Association’s (BAA) Miniature Show. Over 20 BAA artists will show up to four pieces each\, awards will be presented at ArtWalk. We are also featuring two BAA artists: Edda Freestone and LaVonne Girardin. \nTake a walk through Downtown Billings\, and join us for an Artists’ Reception with light refreshments from 5-9 PM. You’ll have the chance to meet many of our 14 member artists\, learn about their creative processes\, and discover the inspiration behind their work.
