DESCRIPTION:Please join us in welcoming our newest partner member\, John Roberts. \n“I relish the infinite possibility of that first mark on a canvas. I enjoy the chaos of the middle painting when I wonder if I should throw the whole thing in the trash. I savor the coalescing surprise of the final touches and the moment I can say\, “It’s done.” For me the journey is as important as the destination and the process is as important as the final result. SUMMARY:Susan Nelson
DESCRIPTION:Susan Nelson is our special guest artist for February and March. \nSusan Nelson\, a long-time resident of Montana\, is a retired educator.  She has been seriously painting since 1995.  As a watercolor painter\, she has concentrated on painting the landscapes and sites of eastern Montana.  She has also done many paintings of abandoned homesteads extant throughout the southeastern part of the state.  She has recently began painting with oils and is excited to see where this medium takes her.  \nSusan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education\, a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics\, a Master of Arts degree in art education and an Associate degree in Graphic Design.  \nShe has won several awards at shows in western North Dakota\, eastern Montana and\, most recently\, at Montana Fair.  \nSome of Susan’s work:
