As a young woman\, I decided to learn oil painting. Life took me to Fresno\, California\, and art took me from oils to watercolor. I later moved to Los Angeles and acrylics. After some experimentation\, I discovered a way to layer clear and pigmented acrylics and mixed media. I use this technique to paint my emotional response to the external environment and to my internal life.
